In our last update for the Rosewood project, we shared that the application had been denied by Council despite a positive staff recommendation and that the project had entered the Ontario Land Tribunal appeal process. We noted that the appeal had been formally filed, acknowledged by the Tribunal, and that an initial Case Management Conference had been held and deferred to allow for refinement of the issues list, with the goal of ensuring a more focused and efficient hearing.

Since then, a subsequent Case Management Conference was held on November 10, 2025, at which time the Tribunal confirmed the dates for the Merit Hearing, now scheduled for June 22 to 29, 2026. This milestone provides clarity on the path forward and allows the team to prepare for a targeted and efficient hearing process.

Based on typical OLT timelines, a decision is expected within two to four months following the hearing. Upon receipt of a favorable decision, the team will proceed with clearing conditions for the Draft Plan of Subdivision and advance the project toward registration and future permitting.
