Projects Update

In our last update for CN Rail, we highlighted that we were in the process of preparing the Official Plan Amendment (OPA) and Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA) applications.

We are now pleased to announce that we submitted our OPA/ZBA application for the CN Rail Project on January 29^th. The City is currently in the process of reviewing the application. Once this review is complete, we anticipate receiving a Notice of Complete Application. Additionally, we have successfully completed the Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), and we are now in the final stages of completing the Record of Site Condition (RSC).

Another piece of good news is that have also received the Terms of Reference from the First Nations peoples, and we are aligned with their requirements. These items, which typically take a considerable amount of time to address, are now actively progressing.

All projected timelines are indicative and reflect current market conditions and planning assumptions. As with any development project, these estimates remain subject to change due to evolving regulatory, market, and construction environments. Accordingly, dates should be considered as targets rather than definitive deadlines.
