In our last project update for 688 Brant, we noted we were in the process of completing our third cycle submission, with our team working to refine the drawings to address all outstanding comments from Cycle 2. The City remains very supportive of the project and has expressed satisfaction with the progress to date.
Since then, we submitted our third cycle submission. We have also received the Site Plan Application comments from the City of Burlington. While we were waiting to receive the comments, we explored ways of enhancing efficiency and incorporating value engineering. As a result, we removed a level of underground parking and increased the density as well as the Net Saleable Area.
The redesign is nearing final review from all stakeholders, including ownership, finance, and the project planner. We are now instructing our consultants to revise the drawings for the resubmission to secure approval and satisfy any outstanding conditions.
Once this is all finalized and approvals are in place, we will call for a shareholder’s meeting.
We remain on track to secure our building permit in Q1 of 2026.
