In our last update for the Niagara Street project, we shared that the Zoning By-law Amendment achieved a major milestone, receiving full Council support during the public hearing on October 6, 2025, and that the Notice of Decision was received on October 22nd, 2025, marking an important step toward securing final zoning approval.
Since then, we are happy to confirm that the zoning approval has been fully finalized, with the Clerk’s certificate package received on December 10th, 2025, confirming the completion of the zoning process. In parallel, the Site Plan Application submitted on October 10th, 2025 and received conditional approval through the first review cycle, approximately two months ahead of the anticipated schedule.
The consultant team has commenced addressing staff comments to remove remaining Site Plan conditions and is advancing preparation of the building permit drawings concurrently. This parallel approach is supporting a smooth transition from approvals into the permitting phase.
Overall, the project continues to progress efficiently, with zoning secured and Site Plan approvals advancing ahead of schedule.
